2023. Despite everything, the shuddering starship Earth continues to sail through the scintillating star ocean. Naturally, for this improbable, yet wondrous voyage, one needs a soundtrack for the travels ahead. We here at Argali Records Netlabel are proud to present the “Fifth Quarterly Report Of Argali Records Netlabel: The Gathering” for that purpose. Inside, you will find a wide array of sonic explorations spread across multiple genres, including electronica, industrial, dark ambience, power electronics/harsh noise, plunderphonics/audio collage, and of course much less easily definable experiments and permutations resulting from genre combinations and alterations.

Just in time for Guy Fawkes Night, Argali Records Netlabel is proud to present “Fawkes Mask”, the newest, and perhaps most mysterious missive from The Glove Of Bones. Continuing with the process of auditory alchemy displayed on the previous albums “Heretical Alchemy” and “9”, “Fawkes Mask” is an expansion of sources and themes, appropriate for both the day and the times we live in. Elements of industrial, electronica, dub and ambient can be found herein, along with the intrigue one encounters when multiple musical genres are fused together in this manner.
The origins of this project can be traced back to May of this year, when The Glove Of Bones received an anonymized email from “Fawkes Mask”. Included was a link to four core pieces: “Fol’eah Dispersion (Ante & Post), Chephaecarro, and Dora JS. These tracks, in addition to original production, were also aided by the Generlter by Thomas Park and additional samples by State Azure (all Creative Commons Attribution licensed). These tracks were then further altered and extended by The Glove Of Bones, and three additional tracks were created to serve as intro, respite, and outro, further building on the already established project themes. Primavera (For E.V.) is noted as being a rework of a track made in the spring of 2020, with the Anxiety Machine and other ‘real instruments’.
For the keen eared among us, there are several repeating loops and themes throughout the album, which may help navigate the provenance of the individual parts and sections. It is also important to emphasize that the individual known as “Fawkes Mask” is NOT Thomas Park, State Azure, The Glove Of Bones, or John Lithium.
Finally, additional credit also to Hainbach for the Noises “Creative Texture Instrument” (www.audiothing.net/instruments/noises/) which gets a huge work out within and very much color the whole work.

For this year, we are mixing things up a bit, as the compilations will be (mostly) unthemed and untitled until just before the release date. Hopefully this will encourage people who feel constrained towards adhering to a certain theme/genre. If you are interested, please check out our submission procedure guidelines here (https://argalirecordsnetlabel.com/submission-procedure/). Please note that we will be a little bit stricter regarding people following the guidelines, as it really does help up run the compilation submission process as smoothly as possible as well as reduces the chance of possible mistakes and/or confusion later on. Also be sure to label your email subject something along the lines of “Track for compilation” so we can easily identify it. The last day to send tracks in will be DEC 9th, with a planned release date of DEC 16th. Thank you.

Argali Records Netlabel is proud to present “RoMoXoZ / New Age”, a collection of electronica and ambient synth minimalism, respectively. As stated by Lezet, “RoMoXoZ” contains some of their most uplifting, lighthearted tracks in their catalogue, ‘which lent themselves to some tasty remixes in the style of early-to-mid 90’s electronic music’. Definitely something we could all use during these harrowing times. Meanwhile, the “New Age” collection was composed whilst under a spell of Vangelis’ music for 10 days in a row. ‘I did not know until about halfway through my 10-day musical diet that he had passed away. The music of Vangelis and his thoughts ended up being the sole source of inspiration for the album’.
